At A GREAT TASTE OF USA, we want you to enjoy every treat you order from us. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

This policy applies to online purchases delivered within the United Kingdom and is designed to comply with UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.


1. Returns Eligibility

Because we sell food products, our returns policy follows food safety and hygiene standards.

Non-returnable items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Food items (including candy, snacks, chocolate, drinks)

  • Any perishable or consumable goods

  • Opened or damaged packaging

  • Products past their best-before date

  • Items not stored correctly after delivery

This is because food products cannot be resold for health and safety reasons.


2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or you received the wrong product:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
    Email: sales@usa-sweets.co.uk
    Include:

    • Order number

    • Description of issue

    • Clear photos of the items and packaging

  2. We will review the issue and offer one of the following:

    • Replacement item(s)

    • Store credit

    • Full refund

If the issue is confirmed, we will cover return shipping costs, where applicable, or may advise you to dispose of the product safely instead of returning it.


3. Change of Mind

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers normally have 14 days to change their mind on online purchases.
However, this does not apply to perishable food items, including candy and drinks.
For this reason, we do not accept returns or offer refunds if you change your mind after receiving your order.

If you cancel before your order is dispatched, we can issue a full refund.


4. Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be sent to the original payment method

  • Processed within 3–5 working days

  • Your bank or card provider may take additional time to clear the refund


5. Delivery Issues

If your parcel has not arrived:

  • Please allow the full delivery window shown at checkout

  • Check tracking updates

  • Contact us at sales@usa-sweets.co.uk with your order number and name

We will help locate the parcel and resolve the issue in line with UK delivery standards.


6. Allergens & Product Information

We rely on manufacturer ingredient labels.
It is your responsibility to check allergen information before consuming products.
If you are unsure, email us before purchasing.

8. Your Legal Rights

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
If an item is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
